Yoonseo Hur is a research and writing coordinator at the Status Quo Project. She is especially interested in political philosophy and ethics. Her favourite philosophers include Marx, Sartre, and Arendt. She has published an article on Hannah Arendt at Our Knowledge for Everyone and won a prize in an Immerse blog competition on the relationship between morality and education level. She is currently learning German and French to broaden her knowledge of European philosophy.

She is a high school student in Seoul, where she participates in a program for high achievers at her school. She plans to major in politics or philosophy at university and become a diplomat. She likes to play video games and chat with her friends.
